Fast & Furious 8 : The Fate of the Furious Movie Review

Just last week the Fast & Furious 8 trailer flashes on my YouTube. “Here we go again” I think, I turn to my boyfriend and ask if this trilogy does not end, because the last few movies have not been that great.

I’m not sure I’m intrigued by the trailer for it did not show much. Besides that FF8 with no Brian, I just didn’t know. But I guess my love for race cars, muscle cars and all that good stuff got the best of me and on I went to the cinema with my friends to watch it.

Now let me tell you guys and I am not exaggerating or nothing like that. 2 hours and a half of lots of laughter, surprises and adventures.

I give this movie five stars.

The stunts were well thought of and performed, maybe one or two parts were perceived as quite impossible. The jokes, man THE JOKES! Tyrese was on point, throughout the whole movie. Punch lines, jokes, great comebacks, seriously… On point! Jason wasn’t so far behind either, how he manages to keep such a straight face when hitting his audience with those lines, is beyond me. And the surprises just kept on coming.

Besides that, of course, the cars. From the tanks, to the muscle cars, to the lamborghinis, to the mustangs, to the bullet proof cars, I loved most of them.

Even though there is not much racing going on, the adventures make up for it. Strategies well planned that kept surprising the viewers. Dom kept surprising me with the decisions he made.

Anyways, a movie worth watching.

Have you seen the movie?

Let me know how you found it.
