Hydrating Banana Mask

It is the weekend and we always have extra time on the weekend to pamper ourselves.

If we don’t, we make sure we do 😀

And to make our weekend better, I introduce you guys to this superb hydrating mask. 100% natural. By now you probably have realized that I’m all into natural. I find it more effective and just naturally satisfying.

So for this really easy mask all we need is:

  1. A ripe crushed banana (from own experience, try to take out those strands found on the banana which I have no clue what they are called, because you do not want them stuck on your hair after)
  2. 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil
  3. 2 tablespoons of honey

We mix all three ingredients until it looks homogeneous. Apply the mix throughout your hair extention and let it cook in there for 30 minutes. Of course before you apply the mask you will have to wash your hair first, with shampoo (or co-wash). After the 30 minutes, you rinse the mask off with warm water and apply the conditioner and then you finalize with your leave-in/cream.

Quite easy right?

If you do not have a banana at home, you can use an avocado instead. It is also really really good. You might need a blender to make a nice paste out of the avocado, though.

Your hair will not smell like bananas or avocado, I guarantee.

Just try it out! And let me know how it goes.
