Milk & Honey Hydrating Mask

I tend to fall in love with anything that has milk in it, especially shower gels. And this mask was no exception.

At first I was doubtful about rubbing milk on my hair, BUT I’m glad I tried it. Because the difference was pretty obvious. The softness, shine and bounce was there. Yes, it was loose and bouncy. Not to mention how the shrinking factor wasn’t as bad.

I recommend it to all hair types, but I read it somewhere that milk can make your hair straight if you leave it on for a long time. Well, mine is so curly that if that was the case, it just didn’t happen and I left the mask on my head for almost 50 minutes. So I am not sure about that statement.

So here are our ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of milk (liquid not powdered)

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon of honey ( you may also use sugar if there is no honey)

transferir (1)

  • 2 tablespoons of an hydrating mask

Mix all ingredients together until a creamy thick paste is formed. Wash hair as you normally would, with shampoo or co-wash and then apply your mask and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse it off and then apply your conditioner and finalize it as you normally would.

To me, this is a five star mask. But of course our hairs would react in different ways, some might like it, others might love and others can hate it. Let me know how your hair reacts to it.
