Vegetable Oil for Your Hair Type and Condition

I know that you might have read or heard from someone or just plain understand that oil is a very essencial part of your hair routine. There are a number of vegetable oils that could be applied on your hair though, which one is the best option? Or maybe you are tired of the only oil you use, try another one or maybe even a butter and still be on the safe side.

Let’s look at some of the options we got.

Normal Hair

  • Virgin Coconut Oil*

Dry, Damaged or Frizzy Hair

  • Virging Coconut Oil
  • Castor Oil
  • Olive Oil
  • Shea Butter
  • Jojoba Oil

Oily Hair

  • Grapeseed Oil
  • Jojoba Oil

Thinning Hair

  • Avocado Oil
  • Grapeseed Oil
  • Castor Oil

Dandruff

I sure wish I had this information back in the days when I was just starting off with this whole natural hair thing. It would have made my life so much easier.

Did you know there was such a thing as the right oils for the right conditions? Oil for oily hair? Who would have known right?

* Virgin coconut oil might have the opposite effect on certain hair types. It might leave them dry and frizzy insted of giving it shine and definition. So pay close attention whenever you use coconut oil or any other oil in that case. Your hair might not like it.
