Mask of the Week: Coco Nutty

Well, well…

I know I have not spoken about masks for some time now. And I know how much you guys enjoy it.

If you did not know, I am now making and selling home made all natural hair masks and soon will be selling other products as well. The name of my brand is Fahari Cosmetics and you might have seen it on my Instagram and my Facebook a few times.

What is the Coco Nutty all about?

Coco Nutty

The mask is based on coconut milk. And on one of my previous posts, I explained that coconut milk is good for hair growth (click here to check out the post).

It is also good for:

  • Nourishing the hair;
  • Moisturize hair from roots to ends;
  • Prevent balding;
  • Detangling.

How Did I Apply It?

Like many other masks, it is applied after you first wash your hair with shampoo. But lately I have been so lazy and tired, that I spray my hair with some water just so the hair is damp and the mask becomes easier to apply and seep into the strands. Little by little, paying close attention to every bit of hair, I applied the mask and to emphasise and define the curls, I raked my fingers through the hair as if combing it.

I left the mask on for 30 minutes, washed it off with luke warm water, applied my co-wash and massaged my scalp. Once that was done, I washed it off and applied my conditioner. The conditioner was only applied to the strands, massaged and washed off.

After I finalized my hair with the usual products, a leave-in, oil and some gel. Below you can see how the hair looks shiny, really defined, for if you notice, it shrank quite a bit.

So what do you guys think about the result? Sorry that I could not post before photos, had no one to take them.
